About the Resort Les Menuires / Saint Martin de Belleville offer two different sides of the same ski area, that of la Vallee des Belleville, part of les 3 Vallees, the biggest ski area in the world.
Two faces where modernism lives alongside tradition, where skiing is combined with all the other mountain pleasures, the most intrepid as well as the most gentle. With their diversity, the two resorts complement each other and reply to the desires of all skiers, the needs of all families. Big and small, young and not so young, single people or couples will all share a moment sheltered far away from the agitation.
Residences on the pistes, shops sheltered in the shopping arcades, different quarters linked with footpaths and mechanical lifts… In Les Menuires, everything has been thought out to simplify life for young and old. Open door towards the fabulous 3 Vallees ski area, Saint Martin de Belleville is a real village resort, certainly dedicated to lovers of authenticity, but also with all the access facilities, infrastructure and shops expected of an up to date winter sports resort. The different facets of the mountain are awaiting skiers from all over the world…, giving them a unique opportunity to get a taste of all the pleasures of mountain life!
Gilles Lansard / OT Les Menuires Saint Martin de Belleville, the charm and authenticity of a village-resort. Stone, wood, slate... at an altitude of 1450 m, Saint Martin de Belleville is a real postcard savoyard village. One can almost smell childhood White Christmases spent at the fireside of a mountain chalet.
Open door towards the fabulous 3 Vallees ski area (600 km, 200 ski lifts) it is a real village resort, certainly dedicated to lovers of authenticity, but also with all the access facilities, infrastructure and shops expected of an up to date winter sports resort.

Hotel
Saint Martin
Exhausted but thrilled on returning after a long day's skiing,
it is now time to think about a good meal. With its monochrome
beige tones and freestone fireplace,
the "Salle
a Manger" is open exclusively in the evenings and the chef offers a classic
menu with three dishes, often structured around a hearty piece of carved meat.
Preceded by a soup or a freshly picked salad, roasted garlic-basted lamb chops,
sirloin steaks or "gratins de crozets" alternate with savoury seasonal
suggestions. Then come the cheeses, including the excellent.
Beaufort which is right in its element here, and, finally, dessert. Baked
apples, creme brulee or sherbet ices?
There is an entirely different atmosphere
in the "Grenier",
which perpetuates the grand culinary traditions of the Savoy region. Old-time
recipes
and decor, a fragrance of childhood pleasures for genuine gourmet delights.
With its wide terrace overlooking the snowy slopes, the "Grenier" has
recaptured all the charm and poetry of yesterday's barns. The menu is presented
on typical local slate trays.
Let us savour it respectfully and take the time
it deserves. For starters, a spread of mountain sausages; a plate
of Savoy meat pies, an amazing "pormonier" and
its Belleville stuffing, "diots" with vine shoots or "saute
de caion et son farcement", a remarkable black pudding. Satisfied, curious
and thrilled, should we finish with fruit clafoutis, blueberry pie, delicious
frangipane rissoles, pears and cream, or sherbet ices with Genepi liqueur?
